Sri Ramalingeshwara Temple

Byrapura village is at a distance of about 15kms from K.R.Pete town. Sri Ramalingeshwara Temple was built in 13th century AD in the Hoysala style of architecture. The temple is under the control of Muzrai Department. The temple was in total dilapidated condition. During the restoration work all the stone members were dismantled, cleaned and re-constructed after strengthening the adhisthana. Flooring inside and outside pradakshinapatha of the temple was laid with stone slabs. Prakara/linkmesh was put around the temple for protection. The temple was restored during 2011-12. After the restoration work, daily pooja is now being performed in this temple.
