Sri Chandralaparameshwari Temple
Honagunta village is at a distance of about 12km from Shahabad town and is a holy place situated on the confluence of rivers Bhima and Kagina. The devotees from neighbour states i.e. Andhrapradesh, Maharashtra, Kerala and Tamilnadu are visiting this temple. Chandralaparameshwari Temple was built in 7th-8th century AD and is in the of Chalukyan style of architecture. As the temple was in dilapidated condition it was to be dismantled completely. During the restoration work, initially the Adhisthana was strengthened and rebuilt. Shri Chakra Shikara was reconstructed over the Garbhagriha has come out beautifully. The restoration work of the temple was carried out during 2004-05. After the restoration work, daily pooja is now being performed in this temple.
