Sri Eshwara Temple

 The village Nandikatta is at  a distance of about 8 kms from Mundagoda town.  Eshwara temple of this village was built during 11- 12th century A.D by Kalyana chalukyan style of architecture. This temple in dilapidated condition was almost covered by earth and vegetation.The temple was completely dismantled and reconstructing using about 60% of the existing stones and remaining stones which were missing/ damaged was substituted with the new one.  The reconstruction took place as per the original by constructing two entrance mantapa with new stone.  Reconstruction wok of this temple took place during 2015-16.
