Sri Someshwara Temple
Belur is a village situated inside the NAL campus of Bangalore city. Sri Someshwara Temple was built in 11th century AD and belonged to early era of Chola dynasty. However, the inscriptions found in the temple relate to the Hoysala and Vijayanagara dynasties. The restoration work of this temple took about one year time and completed in the year 1993. Shikhara over the Garbhagudi was built afterwards. The temple inside the NAL campus at Bangalore is well maintained and daily pooja is also being performed.
