Sri Eshwara Temple, Dummi

 Dummi is a village located at about 10kms from Holalkere town. Sri Eshwara Temple was built in around  9th-10th century AD. Its architecture, in a later Chalukyan style, could be traced back to the era of Rashtrakuta dynasty. The temple comprises a Garbhagriha, Antarala and Navaranga. The temple was in total ruins and was covered with mud and shrubs. The structure could be hardly seen. Today the temple is back to its original form. Restoration work of the temple took place during 2006-07. After the restoration work, the daily pooja is now being performed and attracting many a number of devotees.
