Sri Keertinarayana Temple

Sri Keertinarayana Temple is approachable from Madenur on Bangalore-Hassan National Highway at a distance of 10kms. The temple is at distance of about 20kms from Hassan. This temple consists of Garbhagriha, antarala, an assembly hall, navaranga and a porch. The ceiling has usual lotus motifs but many petals had unfinished work. The temple appears to have been built in around 11th- 12th century AD. The restoration work of the temple took up during 2000-02. This temple is a Protected Monument of Govt of Karnataka, Department State Archeology. After the restoration work, daily pooja is being performed in this temple
